Ryan Myndio to serve as Principal of St. Paul School

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is pleased to announce that Mr. Ryan Myndio has accepted the role of Principal for St. Paul School in Lethbridge, effective this coming 2023/2024 school year.
Mr. Myndio attained his joint Bachelor’s Degrees in Science and Education from the University of Lethbridge in 1998. He went on to complete his Masters in International Education Administration from Endicott College in 2011.
With 25 years of diverse educational experience, Ryan began his career at Catholic Central High School. He taught there for 10 years before expanding his horizons by taking on different International teaching and administrative positions in Europe, the Middle East, and ‘Down Under.” He returned to Canada in 2021, and accepted a position as an Associate Principal at Catholic Central High School.
“Ryan is a great educator who always goes above and beyond to ensure that there are opportunities for his students to grow and develop,” states Superintendent Ken Sampson. “Combined with his broad teaching and administrative experiences, he is the ideal leader for St. Paul School.”
“I feel incredibly privileged and blessed to be given the opportunity to continue my educational journey with the community and staff at St. Paul School. Revisiting elementary classrooms as a leader has been a priority of mine since returning to Canada, and I plan to continue building relationships with the community, our caring staff, and the young hearts at St. Paul. I am also very thankful for the opportunity that the CCHS community has granted me these past few years, and I wish all the staff and administration the very best as they continue their journey of faith.”
Ryan is an active participant in his faith and a member of the St. Martha’s parish and Knights of Columbus in Lethbridge. He is the proud father of two very energetic and athletic teenagers who will soon be calling Lethbridge home as they aspire to continue their post secondary studies here in Southern Alberta. He hopes to continue to coach sport in the community and establish partnerships that would benefit the youth of tomorrow.
The school division will begin advertising for an Associate Principal position at Catholic Central High School immediately. We ask for your prayers as we seek the right candidate to continue to serve the school community.
