Meet your Academic Counsellor
Mr. Mike Hansen serves as the school’s Academic Counsellor. He assists students with academic planning, post-secondary requirements, student finance, awards and scholarship information, class changes and ensuring students are on track to graduate. He is available on campus east on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and campus west on Wednesdays and Fridays. Students are free to drop in during flex and lunch.

October 2nd UofL / Lethbridge Polytechnic Scholarship Information Evening 8PM CCH East cafeteria
Recruiters from both the UofL and Lethbridge Polytechnic will be here to present, and Mr. Hansen will be discussing financial aid, scholarships and graduation requirements following our Parent-student-teacher conference evening from 8-9PM.

October 23rd OOP (Out of Province) Post-secondary Fair 6-7:30PM Bishop O’Byrne High School
Looking to study outside of Alberta? Colleges and universities from all across Canada will be in attendance at this public event. https://www.albertaoop.com/
Can’t get to Calgary? Mr. Hansen will be attending, talk to him about which schools you’re interested in.
October 25th University of Lethbridge OPEN House 9:00AM - 3:00PM
November 3rd Catholic Central Post-secondary Fair 6-7:30PM CCH East cafeteria
Over 28 Alberta universities and colleges, as well as the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP will be in attendance to provide information to CCH students and parents. This event is open to all CCH Grade 10-12 students and parents only.
November 6th ELAA Post-secondary Fair 5-7:30PM Lethbridge Agri-hub & Food Centre
Can’t make it on November 3rd? There will be another post-secondary fair on Nov. 6 that is open to the public.
