Please be advised that this school responds to ALL instances of threats of violence. We have a well developed school Division protocol on how to respond to students who threaten others with violence. We encourage students (and parents) to report instances of violence or threats of violence. A number of our staff members have been trained to assess students who could pose a danger to others or themselves. They have also been trained in how to access appropriate community based supports (Police, Social Services, Mental Health) to deal with and help the threat maker and the potential victims.
