CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLANS (CIP) and ALBERTA EDUCATION ASSURANCE MEASURE (AEAM)
Alberta Education requires each school to create a plan to improve student learning. In accordance with Alberta Educations Requirement for School Authority Planning and Results Reporting, schools then provide assurance to school communities by communicating student growth and achievement in an annual report that demonstrates improvement results (Alberta Assurance Education Measure - AEAM) and next steps in a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP).
A school's Continuous Improvement Plan is a product of collaborative inquiry around a comprehensive needs assessment lead by school leaders and school staff and should consider a Division's Priorities.
Holy Spirit Catholic School Division Board Strategic Priorities for 2023-2026 are:
- Strengthening our Catholic Faith
- Learning through Quality Teaching
- Living Truth and Reconciliation
- Belonging in our Diverse Community
Catholic Central High School's CIP is a strategic document created by the school staff to guide ongoing development and address specific goals for enhancing student learning through quality teaching, strengthening our Catholic faith, living (and learning) through Truth and Reconciliation, and belonging in a diverse community.
