Storewell Foster Children Bursary Program

Storewell offers an annual bursary of $2,000 in support of foster children to help them attend post-secondary schools and to offer a hand up as they make their way forward in life.

Schulich Leader Scholarships

Up to one hundred scholarships are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $100,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $80,000* for science and math scholarships.

Every high school in Canada can nominate one graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship. Please talk to Mrs. Polec before January 13 if you are interested<

Nomination deadline is January 27, 2021

University of Lethbridge

Entrance Scholarships – Fall

Scholarships valued at a minimum of $500 are available from each department in the Faculty of Fine Arts (Art, Drama, Music and New Media). These scholarships are conditional based on acceptance to the U of L Faculty of Fine Arts in the Fall. Depending on the program, you may be required to submit a portfolio or do an audition, or you may have to submit and essay.

Lethbridge College

Lethbridge College: Lethbridge College Awards Application Open March 1 – May 1
This year over $800,000 in scholarships and awards will be received by students of Lethbridge College. One application form puts your name in the running for all Lethbridge College awards that you are eligible for.

RAP/CTS

Value: $1000.00

Number: Five Hundred

Criteria: Be a Canadian Citizen and a resident of Alberta who has completed the requirements for a high school diploma by June of their graduating year.

Be registered as an apprentice in the Registered Apprenticeship Program OR have successfully completed a Career and Technology Studies apprenticeship pathway through an Alberta high school.

Not be a previous RAP/CTS Scholarship recipient.

Apply: This scholarship program is one that you don’t even have to apply for to be eligible! When you register as an apprentice in your My Tradesecrets account you just need to consent and provide your Social Insurance Number. Apprentices must keep their MyTradesecrets profile up-to-date, including their mailing address.

Disbursement: Cheques will be mailed to the address in the recipient's MyTradesecrets profile by November 1.
